Our Speaker Programme
In addition to career development events and trips to universities, Stratford Girls’ Grammar School regularly invites external speakers and Alumnae to share their insight and experiences with students. These assemblies and talks can take place in either physical or virtual environments.
Alumnae visits are particularly engaging for students as they provide evidence of all that can be achieved through working hard at SGGS. Our genuine interest in shaping the futures of our students sees the majority of them stay in touch with us after they graduate, with many keen to visit us and inspire the next generation of students. If you are an SGGS alumnae please sign up to our Alumnae database: https://www.futurefirsthub.org.uk/register/stratford-girls-grammar-school
Through part of the academic year we invite in external speakers as part of national career campaign events including Green Careers Week, Creative Careers Week, National Apprenticeship Week and National Careers Week.
We have fantastic links with a diverse range of local employers and global brands who regularly provide talks and attend SGGS events, raising awareness of entry-level programmes and openly discussing what they look for in future applicants. We are always interested to hear from any alumnae, local employers, parents/carers and wider stakeholders who are interested in coming in to deliver a talk on their career journey, or careers within their sector to inspire our students. If you are interested in finding out more please email lardner.h@sggs.org.uk
