Would you like to make a difference in a school where you can?

SGGS is an extraordinary place to teach and work in.  With high academic standards, a genuine community spirit and high levels of enthusiasm from students and staff alike, ours is a truly vibrant setting.  Bright, engaged and highly motivated students led by equally driven teaching staff mean that results are outstanding at all levels.  Without doubt, our students are a stimulating group of young people to guide, support and work with.  We recognise that they deserve the very best education and opportunities and we therefore seek people who share our vision, ethos and values, to join our community and contribute to the best experience possible for our young people.

The successful candidate will join an exceptionally welcoming, hard-working and supportive team and will be given all the guidance necessary in order to have an enjoyable and successful experience at Stratford Girls’ Grammar School.  As a school we place huge value on supporting and developing our teachers through a structured but individualised programme of professional development. This stimulating working environment is a key factor in our success as a teaching and learning community.

The school is located in the small village of Shottery on the outskirts of Stratford-upon-Avon, just ten minutes from junction 15 of the M40 and less than an hour from Birmingham and Coventry. It is based in the grounds of Shottery Manor, a fifteenth century manor house which accommodates our sixth form. The school buildings are quite compact, and the entire site is arranged around a very attractive central lawn.

Further details about the school can be found on our website, or our social media platforms, all of which are excellent sources for a real feel of our school.  Examination results for 2019 (and summary information about the preceding five years) are available on the website, as well as a link to our most recent Ofsted report (February 2009).

This school is committed to safeguarding, equality of opportunity, and promoting the welfare of children and young people. An enhanced DBS check will be required.

Please Note: All applications must be made using the SGGS Application Form and emailed to jobs@sggs.org.uk. We do not accept CVs.
